(As well as Italy and Switzerland.) Inaugurated by &lt;span id="more-2152"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;King Alfonso XIII in time for the 1929 world’s fair in Seville, the station fell into disrepair by the 1980′s and after a four-year-long renovation, reopened for another one of Spain’s big 20th century moments, the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. &lt;em&gt;Photo ©Mike Randolph&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
